Rudd - Wallace, 1-0

IM John-Paul Wallace is currently playing on board 4 for Guildford-ADC (Division 1) in England's 4NCL competition. He lost this nice game to Bristol 1's Jack Rudd (2359) last week.

Shannon is playing 4NCL as well, but in a third division team. She says it is so much fun and wishes Aus could get something like that going. She's also been playing in Ireland and I think is heading off to play in Spain during the Easter semester break.

Good to see John Paul back playing regular tournament chess.

Not unless Wales is part of England.

You seem to have misunderstood the four nations part.

England,Scotland,Wales,Northern Ireland= Great Britain.

I know Jack well from my days in Cambridge (albeit more from bridge than chess). He has a very entertaining style of play - always worth watching even when he goes down..
