So I just arrived back home from this year's presentation of the Shutterbug prize, held in the Chauvel Cinema in Paddington. It's basically a photo competition for amateur and "emerging" photographers. I won't go into too much detail, but I am posting about this here because tonight I learned something totally unexpected.
It seems that the world of photography also uses the title, "grand master". A judge in Shutterbug is Aussie Peter Eastway. He is a GM and, apparently, one of only 5 in the world. Fancy that!
How do you earn the title, I hear you ask. Here's how.
