NSFW: Love Chess

WARNING: This post links to a website that contains sexually explicit images. They are 'not safe for work' (NSFW).

The people at Artmunk are about to release a follow up to their 2006 game, "Lovechess: Age of Egypt". Entitled "Lovechess: Salvage", the new game takes the graphics at least a couple of levels up. Here's a screenshot, the safest image I felt I could use on this blog!

And from the website: "Besides the visual side of things we also implemented a new "sex" system, this time you can guide your "pieces" while they have sex and let them reach an orgasm if you play correctly. A good fight should have a proper reward after all!"

I was looking for "The Closet Grandmaster" Chess Blog, but it seems to be taken over by a porn site, wow the Wife is not going to believe me over this !

Don't worry. If you check out how some of those pieces move, the wife will probably end up thanking you for it.

I don't mind the nudity and the sex, but the black square at lower right?... TOTAL obscenity! Blech!! Oh, if only I could un-look at that image!! >_<

That is so funny, DeepGreene, but yes, quite right.

Salvage is the third in the series of Lovechess.

I own all three. The graphics in Salvage are great compared to Age of Egypt and especially The Greek Era.

Buyer beware, Salvage is full of bugs and glitches. Aside from the graphics I’m extremely disappointed in the game difficulty.

I could quietly overlook the bugs and glitches if false advertising wasn’t the case. The site for this game advertises, “Deep Strategic Game Play,” and “LoveChess features an improved chess engine, to challenge both beginning as expert players.” I copied and pasted the quote, that’s right typos included. Age of Egypt does, Greek Era and Salvage does not. The computer offers very poor resistance, and your options are Easy or Hard and they are both very easy to beat. Gets boring very fast.

Age of Egypt you can adjust the difficulty from 1 - 10. It does have a good chess engine. No glitches or bugs, well worth the money. If you purchase Age of Egypt you get The Greek Era free because it has the same limitations as Salvage minus the glitches, but still very easy to beat, boring.

Lovechess Salvage still needs work, I’m sorry I paid for it. If it were just like Age of Egypt but with a new twist it would be perfect. But instead it is just like Greek Era in every bad way but with a new twist plus new malfunctions.
