Kasparov: Russia is a Police State

Speaking in the wake of Anna Politkovskaya's murder (Anna was a journo critical of the Putin regime), Garry Kasparov, in an interview with Portuguese paper Jornal de Negocios, said, "I try to protect myself and my family as much as possible but I am aware that no protection is possible".

Garry Kasparov may be a very fine chess player but as a social commentator he is left wanting. Russia is not a police state, how preposterous! Utter nonsense! Bah!
Russia is NOT a police state, but rather, Russia is a bandit nation ruled by the 'Russian Mafia' who have infiltrated into all areas of society and government.

Russia is not a bandit state ruled by the Russian mafia. Has the hater ever been to Russia??? Doesn't look by the blasphemous remarks. Also don't be so quick to question great people like Kasparov who just so happens to be a political critic as well as the world's greatest chess player.
