Face Lift for the NSWCA

According to the The Chess Nut, it looks like the New South Wales Chess Association (NSWCA) may soon have a new look logo. If true, then the association must quickly receive our support and congratulations. About bloody time, I say.

Trent Parker is the NSWCA's Publicity Officer.

I hope they print plenty of copies of the new LOGO; it should come in handy for papering over the cracks.

The NSWCA is going great with Bill Gletsos at the helm. It was great playing in the Australia Day Weekender with so many others and I have no doubt that under Bill's astute leadership the numbers for weekend chess will grow so much that the venue will not be able to adequately handle all th eplayers who want to play. Bill Gletsos he is a legend who is worthy odf the Koshnitsky medal just on his inspired leadership of NSW chess, let alone the other good things he does for chess, which is far more than Matthew Sweeney, who was completely useless during his time on NSWCA council.

G is for Gletsos!
My anonymous friend, perhaps you could be more lucid about Billy's "inspired", "astute" leadership? Given that numbers have continually declined under Gletsos, on what grounds do you claim that he has a clue?
A shoebox would adequately handle the number of players in any event co-ordinated by Gletsos.
There are however some decent councillors now on board to paper over Bill's megalomania.
